While the 34 drivers vying for a spot in the 107th Indianapolis 500 presented By Gainbridge looked for their first opportunity at on-track time, the fickle Indiana weather threw any such plans out the window.

After hours of light rain throughout the 2.5-mile track in Speedway, the first day of practice was called off.

Thankfully, Wednesday’s forecast is much better for the stars and cars of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.
