Practice 3 Results Combined Practice Results
In the last practice before Sunday’s 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES finale, Felix Rosenqvist led the way in his last race with Meyer Shank Racing before a 2027 return to Arrow McLaren. The 2026 Indianapolis 500 winner topped final practice for Sunday’s Mission Foods Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, California.
Rosenqvist lapped the 2.258-mile, 11-turn permanent road course at a session-best 1m10.4275 (114.398 mph) and starts third in tomorrow’s 95-lap race. Following Rosenqvist on the lapped chart was Mick Schumacher, the lone rookie in the Top 5. The Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing driver was .2783 of a second back. He starts 15th in his last appearance before moving to Meyer Shank Racing next season.
Pole sitter Scott McLaughlin was third, best among the Chevrolets and looks to close out 2026 with a victory. Dixon, who joins Rosenqvist in 2027, was fourth followed by Andretti Global’s Kyle Kirkwood, who is battling for the runner-up finish in this year’s championship along with Christian Lundgaard and Pato O”Ward of Arrow McLaren as well as Team Penske’s David Malukas.
The pair of red flags in the session were caused by separate incidents. First a spin from Juncos Hollinger Racing’s Sting Ray Robb, who spun and made contact with the outside tire barrier in Turn but climbed from his car. Kyffin Simpson of Chip Ganassi Racing spun in Turn 5 and the red flag was displayed just as his car would refire.
