Collet’s quasi teammate for the race, Katherine Legge of HMD mOtorsports with A.J. Foyt Racing was confirmed overnight to contest the NASCAR Cup Series’ Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway next Sunday following the Indianapolis 500. Legge will be the first woman and foreign-born driver to attempt to run “The Double” and race 1,100 miles on May 24.

There were no major incidents today as the four cautions spanning 35 minutes and nine seconds were all due to track inspections or debris.
