This weekend brings the last oval races of the season. In our third doubleheader weekend, the NTT IndyCar Series heads to the World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway for the Bommarito Automotive Group 500.

Unlike last weekend, each entry for Fantasy IndyCar will feature $100 budget to split among four drivers. Consider these picks to apply for both races.

Favorites

Josef Newgarden (Team Penske)-$31

In 2017, Newgarden made a bold pass on teammate Simon Pagenaud en route to victory in the series’ return to Gateway. A year later, Newgarden finished seventh. After winning the pole last year, he led the first 50 laps but faded before a last-turn spin dropped him to seventh.

Last month, Newgarden dominated to win the second race at Iowa Speedway, further solidifying his status as the best short-track racer of IndyCar. This weekend, he is in strong position to do the same as he looks to keep pace with points leader Scott Dixon.

Takuma Sato (Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing)-$27

After becoming a two-time Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, Sato will look for at least another “double” this weekend.

Last year, he led the final 61 laps and won after starting fifth. If he wins this weekend, he would be the track’s first repeat winner. In 10 previous races, Gateway has seen 10 different winners. This weekend, Sato could add at least one more, if not two wins to his total.

Other Favorites

Simon Pagenaud (Team Penske)-$30

Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing)-$33

Sleepers

Santino Ferrucci (Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser-Sullivan)-$24

In 2019, Ferrucci had the best run of his rookie campaign, as he led a race-high 97 laps and finished fourth. Last week, the sophomore driver matched that best finish at the Indianapolis 500.

As he looks to finish out his second IndyCar campaign on a high note, Ferrucci will be one to watch this weekend.

Charlie Kimball (A.J. Foyt Racing)-$22

Although Kimball has not started better than 17th or finished better than seventh, he could surprise this weekend at Gateway. Since 2017, A.J. Foyt Racing has earned two Top Five and an additional Top 10 finish. Paired with teammate Tony Kanaan, Kimball and Foyt Racing are poised for a solid weekend.

Other Sleepers

Oliver Askew (Arrow McLaren SP)-$21

Zach Veach (Andretti Autosport)-$24
