Warmup Results Combined Practice Results Tire Designations Starting Lineup
Leading up to Sunday’s 100-lap race, Arrow McLaren’s Pato O’Ward led the 25-car field in the morning warmup for Sunday’s Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. O’Ward, who starts eighth in today’s 100-lap race and won here in 2024, posted a best lap of 1m01.5944 (105.204 mph).
Finishing .0018 of a second back was the 2025 winner of the 1.8-mile, 14-turrn street circuit in St. Petersburg, Florida. Chip Ganassi Racing’s Alex Palou will start fourth as he looks to defend both the race win and ultimately the championship this year.
O’Ward’s teammate Christian Lundgaard was third and starts 12th, with Palou’s teammate Scott Dixon in fourth as he starts 16th.
Andretti Global’s Kyle Kirkwood closed out the Top Five with Honda power and starts 15th, while Arrow McLaren’s Nolan Siegel made it a 1-3-6 effort for his team and their Chevrolet entries. Siegel will roll off 22nd.
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Mick Schumacher finished best among the rookies this session in 12th. After qualifying third, Dale Coyne Racing’s Dennis Hauger was 17th.
Pole sitter Scott McLaughlin of Team Penske was 25th as the. looks for his second win in St. Petersburg. The 25-minute session was run without major incident.
