Warmup Results Combined Practice Results Starting Lineup
Ahead of today’s final street course race of 2025, Arrow McLaren’s Christian Lundgaard was fastest in Sunday’s warmup for the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto.
Lundgaard, who won this race from the pole in 2023, posted a best lap of 1m06.1219 (97.239 mph). He will start the 90-lap race on the 1.786-mile, 11-turn Exhibition Place temporary circuit in 19th on the 27-car grid.
Teammate Nolan Siegel, who finished 1.182 seconds back of his teammate in second, will make his second Toronto start from 12th on the grid. A.J. Foyt Racing’s Santino Ferrucci was third, with Ed Carpenter Racing’s Alexander Rossi in fourth and Ferrucci’s teammate David Maluaks in fifth.
Ferrucci and Rossi start on row 12 in 23rd and 24th, with Malukas in 15th.
2015 and 2017 race winner Josef Newgarden of Team Penske bookended a Top 6 sweep for Chevrolet during the session and starts 18th.
Meyer Shank Racing’s Felix Rosenqvist was the best Honda entry in 7th and starts 16th.
Overnight rain did limit the running in the 25-minute session, as the Chip Ganassi Racing entries of points leader Alex Palou, four-time Toronto winner Scott Dixon and sophomore driver Kyffin Simpson opted not to run. They will start second, 17th (engine penalty) and 13th respectively today.
Pole winner Colton Herta of Andretti Global was 18th as he looks to repeat his 2024 Toronto victory and score his first win of 2025.
As the session drew to a close, Ferrucci spun in Turn 7 before making heavy contact with the outside wall and stopping in Turn 8. It was the only major incident during the running.
