Practice 2 Results Combined Practice Results Qualifying Groups

Continuing a torrid pace in a legendary season, Chip Ganassi Racing’s Alex Palou was fastest in Saturday’s practice for the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio. The 2023 race winner and 2024 pole winner at the 2.258-mile, 13-turn Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio posted a best lap of 1m05.5966 (124.301 mph).

Arrow McLaren’s Christian Lundgaard was second on the lap chart, .1568 of a second back of Palou’s Honda. Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Louis Foster was the fastest rookie in the session, placing third on the morning.

Lundgaard’s teammate and 2024 Mid-Ohio winner Pato O’Ward was fourth and 2019 runner-up Felix Rosenqvist was fifth in his Meyer Shank Racing entry.

Just past halfway into the session, Andretti Global’s Marcus Ericsson veered off course and into the sand trap an on the front straightaway, sustaining have damage to the front end of the car. He would end the session 121h in the 27-car field.

Following more than eight minutes under the red flag, the session was run without further incident.

1:22 p.m. – The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Presented by the All-New 2026 Passport (90 laps/203.22 miles), FOX (live)
