Practice 2 Results Combined Practice Results

As the NTT INDYCAR SERIES paddock braces for the first mandated “four stint” race, Graham Rahal would lead the final practice heading into qualifying for Saturday’s Sonsio Grand Prix.

The Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing driver, who started on pole here in August 2023 and has finished second in two different aces on the 2.439-mile, 14-turn Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.

Rahal took advantage of the alternate tires and posted a best lap of 1m09.7242 (125.930 mph). Teammate Louis Foster was best among the rookies in second, .1384 of a second back of Rahal. Teammate Devlin DeFrancesco completed a Top 3 sweep for the organization.

The Juncos Hollinger Racing duo of Sting Ray Robb and Conor Daly also utiliized the softer tires and rounded out the Top Five as the best Chevrolet entries following the RLLR Hondas.

Engine issues forced PREMA Racing to hold rookie driver Robert Shwartzman out of practice.

After leading practice this morning, Chip Ganassi Racing’s Alex Palou was seventh on the lap chart in this practice. Only Rahal and Foster bested Palou’s lap from the opening session.
