Dale Coyne Racing announced three drivers who will race for the organization during the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

Jack Harvey will pilot the No. 18 entry at 14 races throughout the season, beginning with this weekend’s Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, where he started second in 2021.

Harvey, who has 79 starts to his name, recorded a best finish of third at the GMR Grand Prix on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course in 2019.

“I’m thrilled to join Dale Coyne Racing for this season,” Harvey exclaimed in Tuesday morning’s announcement.

“I want to thank Dale, INVST and many other supporters for giving me this opportunity to return to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and continue this journey. St Pete has always been a city, and circuit, that I have loved and it’s great to have the opportunity to start this new chapter at one of my favorite events.”

Driving the No. 18 car in four events during the season will be Indy NXT by Firestone competitor Nolan Siegel. Siegel, who twice with HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing during the 2023 season (Detroit 2 and Road America) will participate in four NTT INDYCAR SERIES events.

He will compete at the Thermal Club $1 Million Challenge and make his official debut at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 21. Siegel will also be in the car for the 108th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge and the Honda Indy Toronto.

“I’m super excited to be joining Dale Coyne Racing for Thermal, Long Beach, the Indianapolis 500 and Toronto in the 18 car this season,” Siegel noted.

“It’s a lifelong dream come true for me to be racing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. I can’t wait to make the most of this opportunity. Huge thank you to Dale, everyone at the team and everyone that has been a part of my career up until now that’s helped get me here. Thermal is right around the corner. We’re going to get to work, and I can’t wait to get back in the car.”

Alongside the No. 18 car, DCR will again feature a partnership with Rick Ware Racing. Sports car veteran Colin Braun will drive the No. 51 at St. Petersburg and Thermal Club. Braun, who is slated for a full-time IMSA sports car schedule, will have the opportunity to run more races later in 2024, per today’s announcement.

“I’m so pumped about doing my first two NTT INDYCAR SERIES races at St. Petersburg and Thermal Club with Dale Coyne Racing with RWR,” Braun said.

“I want to give a huge thank you to Dale. What an opportunity he gave me last week to get a taste of the Indy car in Sebring. It was so fun to drive.”

Dale Coyne Racing will take part in its 40th season of IndyCar Racing. Their partnership with Rick Ware Racing dates back to the 2020 Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, where James Davison ran with the team.

“I think we have a great combination of drivers that will work well together, as they’ve shown at our tests in Homestead and Sebring. Jack (Harvey) brings a lot of experience to the team and he immediately fit right in when he tested with us,” Dale Coyne noted.

“Nolan (Siegel), like Jack, is a pleasure to work with. He impressed us at the Homestead test with how quickly he was up to speed for his first time in the car. We look forward to seeing what both will do this season aboard our 18 car.”

Coyne said of Braun, “We already know what Colin Braun can do in a sportscar, and it was great to see him jump into our Indy car last week. He’s jumping into the deep end with little time aboard one of these cars before his first race but we’re confident in his abilities and can’t wait to see him back in the car this weekend in St. Petersburg.

Siegel and Harvey participated in testing for the team at the Homestead-Miami Speedway Road Course in January, while Harvey and Braun tested at Sebring last week.
