This morning, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES released the 17-race schedule for the 2024 season.
As has been the case in five of the last seven years, the schedule remains at 17 races, not including a previously announced exhibition race at Thermal Club on March 24.
The season will begin on March 10 with the series’ 21st appearance on the Streets of St. Petersburg in Florida.
The next points races will be the Grand Prix of Long Beach and the race at Barber Motorsports Park.
May 11 will see the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course host its lone event to kick off the month. The 108th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge is set for May 26. Following the Detroit and Road America events (June 2 and 9), WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca moves to a new spot on the calendar (June 23).
The July 7 race at Mid-Ohio kicks off a stretch of four races in three weekends, with the Iowa Speedway doubleheader and Toronto race (the lone event outside of the United States) following.
WorldWide Technology Raceway (Gateway) and Portland precede the series’ return to the famed Milwaukee Mile.
Returning to the calendar for the first time since 2015, the Wisconsin venue hosts a doubleheader weekend for the first time on August 31-September 1.
“There is such a great tradition and history of INDYCAR racing at the Milwaukee Mile, and we are excited to build on that legacy with a Labor Day weekend NTT INDYCAR SERIES doubleheader beginning in 2024,” said Roger Penske, chairman of Penske Corporation.
“We appreciate all the loyal and passionate INDYCAR fans in Milwaukee and across the state of Wisconsin, and thanks to our partnership with the Wisconsin State Fair Park, we can’t wait to return to the Mile next season.”
The season concludes with the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix on a redesigned Nashville street circuit on September 15.
Start times for the 2024 events will be announced at a later date. Race dates and television networks are listed below.
